Tarrin supported me with having my first baby at home. She went above and beyond in my prenatal and postpartum visits to educate me with such patience and never made me feel ignorant for not knowing everything about pregnancy or birth or newborns. There were moments during labor that were very challenging, and she was so encouraging and reassuring. Tarrin and her team were amazing at respecting my desire to birth in a quiet, dark, and peaceful space; it made my ability to cope and rest between waves easier by being surrounded with calm and grounded women.
When I look back at my first few weeks as a new mom, I’m just so thankful to have had a team who not only came to my home for visits, but brought me gifts to help support my body’s healing when I needed it. They checked on baby, but most importantly they checked on ME. Genuinely carrying about all the little details that make up transitioning into parenthood, and how I was emotionally doing with that transformation.
I am so thankful for Tarrin in being my first midwife and introducing me to what it looks like to have relationship based care, and I can’t imagine bringing my babies into the world in any other way.

Tarrin is a rockstar. She assisted with the birth of my first daughter and when I got pregnant with my second daughter I knew immediately what I wanted! I wanted Tarrin! She helped me get everything in order and was there from beginning to end. The fact that when I had decided I was going to just take a nap until my baby had arrived she was all for it and prepared a space for me to sleep without judgment was amazing. Anything I wanted or needed she was there. It was like having a super smart friend help you through labor. Everything was smooth, while she was there through the entire process she was not telling me when to push or how to feel. She didn’t make me change the position I was in to accommodate her she worked around me. I was able to give birth at home with my friends and family surrounding me. Had I had the option to have her deliver my last little girl I would have done it in a heartbeat. Tarrin is so passionate about her work and it shows. Although I’ve had other midwives Tarrin is hands down without a doubt the best one I’ve ever had, I would recommend her 100/100 times

Tarrin is an absolutely incredible midwife! She attended or supported all 3 of our births.
She is knowledgeable and skilled. We experienced great comfort from the moment she was on our birthing team throughout our last postpartum visits with her.
She was present and understanding. She listened to our fears and hopes, and brought both strength and comfort to us along each of our birthing journeys.
She helped us through the moments when we needed help finding our humor. And she had a keen sense of when to jump into action to handle the kind of things that can happen quickly in the moment.
She was able to help us through a moment during the first birth where we had to consider whether to stay in the birth center or transport to a hospital. She had the ability to monitor and hold space for the process, and calmly guide us through our options. We were able to have our out of hospital birth that we had hoped for.
She has been able to provide us in-home care when we needed it, to identify when hydration fluids were needed during a prenatal visit, and to minimize tearing during birth by assisting the baby’s delivery.
During our third pregnancy, we had some confusion with another care provider about the estimated due date and they were suggesting inducing the birth. She was able to ask just the right questions to bring clarity and assess the situation very quickly to get to the understanding we needed to make an informed decision.
I know that without a doubt all three of my birthing experiences were smoother and closer to my visions for them because Tarrin was on our team.
Having Tarrin as our midwife has been something we have always been thankful for. She has become a part of our family and a friend. She truly cares about her clients and their families.
